AGM Minutes for 6-10-2014
Present: Francis Byrne, Eimear Murphy Tomkins, Sharon Roche, Anne Marie Keegan, Mary Murphy, Aislinn Medd, Dean O Neill, Angela Haxby, Anne Maguire, Jean Maher, Tony McDonnell, Liz O Brien.

Principal Con Brosnan was present to give the parents an update on the current status of both the new build, and some new initiative’s for the school.
The present status of the build it is currently delayed, but now the weather will be and ongoing factor and will determine when the build will be finished, he has promised to keep us updated on this matter. A new Pathway is underway and will be finished a.s.a.p.
The Literacy programme is ongoing and is evaluated on a yearly basis; we also now have a graded reader in place.
The need for new Laptops or I pads were also addressed, as currently only 13/18 are currently working. The wish list would to have all computers upgraded.
Mr Brosnan, thanked the parents Association for all the hard work carried out through the year, and best wishes for the coming year.

Minutes of Meeting 6-10-2014
The Halloween Disco was organised for the children in the school, this year a charge of €3 will apply, however this will cover entry and a ticket in the Raffle. The disco will take place in the Hall on Sunday the 26th October from 4-6, subject to approval from Fr. Orr. Music provided by Aislinn Medd, and Sharon to ask about speakers and lights. People are asked to arrive at 3pm to kit out the hall for the Disco. Raffle prize being looked into by Mary Murphy, either tickets to Wells house Halloween, or Amber Springs Train.
The Christmas Fair will also be a runner this year looking at Saturday the 29th November, in the Hall from 6:30, subject to approval from Fr. Orr. We will be looking for Fair Stall, and the Kids will have the Cup Cake Table, Pottery. Teas and Coffees will be served, and Dean has kindly donated a Novelty Fruit Cake for Raffle.
Garda Vetting forms were also issued to new members of the Association.
Future Fundraising Ideas were also mentioned as a Car Treasure hunt in the summer looking at charging €20 per car.
Karaoke: A fancy Dress Karaoke was also mentioned, with a prize for the best dressed, and a raffle on the night as well
